STUDENT VISA PROCESSING TIME
The Australian government’s processing time for different visa streams vary. Priority is given to higher education stream applications. But generally we should allow for between 2 to 4 months for the application applications to be processed. The following is just a guideline for different visa stream processing time:

| Vocational education & training sector | 78 days to 5 months |
| Schools sectors | 4 months to 6 months |
| Postgraduate research sector | 90 days to 5 months |
| Independent ELICOS sector | 77 days to 4 months |
| Non-award sector | 78 days to 5 months |
