STUDENT VISA PROCESSING TIME

The Australian government’s processing time for different visa streams vary. Priority is given to higher education stream applications. But generally we should allow for between 2 to 4 months for the application applications to be processed. The following is just a guideline for different visa stream processing time:

Higher education sector	46 – 78 days
Vocational education & training sector	78 days to 5 months
Schools sectors	4 months to 6 months
Postgraduate research sector	90 days to 5 months
Independent ELICOS sector	77 days to 4 months
Non-award sector	78 days to 5 months

In order to have your application to be processed as early as possible, we strongly advise applicants to prepare and submit complete documents with correct and all the required information.
