VETASSESS Increase in Skills Assessment Fees

From October 22 2025, VETASSESS skills assessment application fees for professional and general occupation increase in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

The increase also applies to Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMA) and Industry Labour agreements (ILA).

The increase does not apply to assessments for trade occupations.

The fee for a full skills assessment for general and professional occupations will increase from $1070 to $1076.

The fee for a Sc 485 skills assessment will increase from $832 to $852.
